TEEconomy - localising our local economy

“Opportunities to Grow our Local Economy”

HEREFORDSHIRE ECONOMIC EVALUATION

Nick Sherwood (REconomy, Herefordshire) and Fiona Ward (Transition Network) have developed the attached suite of four reports, which explore the potential for creating a new type of local economy in the county.

The Summary report draws together the ‘headline news’ from each of the three detailed reports and provides an overview.

Each of the three detailed reports addresses the focus subject in depth, providing underpinning data and analysis, and a reference document is provided for each. Most people will benefit from reading the Summary before moving on to looking at any of the detailed reports which may be of interest.

This work is presented in the hope that it will stimulate discussion and raise awareness of the potential for a new form of local economic development, one which will address many of the financial, social and environmental problems that Herefordshire faces.
